After that my audio recording IO device stopped working. I went to the device manager and find it there. It says it has the current driver. But just to be sure, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. And this IO device no longer shows up as an input in my audio recording software. What should I do?

But again, it seems to be more an issue with Windows recognizing the installed driver. When I go to device manager, the driver seems to be installed. When I click update driver it correctly reports that I have the newest version.
